Recent Activities 6/20/08 - 2008 A-A Chorus OK-Party Earthquake relief update 6/16/08 - ACCA members have contributed a total of $13,035 towards the earthquake victims. This includes $7,890 directly delivered to American Red Cross China Earthquake Relief fund by ACCA, and $5,145 via other channels such as company match program and donations in other fund raising events. Thanks everyone for a job well done! 6/5/08 - Today, we made the 2nd delivery of $2,390 to American Red Cross for China Earthquake Relief Fund. Up to now, ACCA has raised a total of $7,890 for earthquake victims. Thanks all for your support and contribution! 5/31/08 - Walk For Sichuan Earthquake at Boston Common Photos The event starts at 10am, ends around 2pm. The performance begins at 11am ends around 2pm as well. http://www.bostonaidsichuan.org/si_event_walk.htm Please join and support tens of thousands of people for the walk/performances. Bring your family, and friends! Walk For China！Andover Chorus will be performing as part of All NACA Chorus Performance Program. 5/27/08 - The quake death toll has risen to 67,183 as of 5 p.m., 05/27/2008. It has injured 361,822, while 20,790 are still missing. 5/26/08 - We have created a new web site to host ACCA literature on Earthquake Relief. Here is the link - Literature 5/25/08 - ACCA Chorus group, as a member of NACA (North American Chorus Association), performed at Boston Chinese Sichuan Earthquake Relief Benefit Concert . The entire fund raised from the concert will be donated to the earthquake victims. Photos 5/24/08 - We have raised a total of $6170 including the $5500 delivered to American Red Cross. 5/22/08 - We delivered a total of $5500 to American Red Cross Bay Office at Cambridge MA today. 5/21/08 - We have raised a total of $5500 by the end of the day. 5/19/08 - Our donations to Earthquake Victims via American Red Cross are now 3559.97. 5/17/08 - We have raised $3059.97 in total, including $740 from local residents at Andover Clown Town.Many children donated their spending money to help the Earthquake victims.Thanks to all for your support and help! Boston Chinese Sichuan Earthquake Relief Benefit Concert at MIT on 5/25
American Red Cross representative ensured us again that 100% of our donation will be transferred to China Red Cross with a day or so. Above is the receipt of $5500 from Red Cross. The individual receipts will be sent out from American Red Cross next week or so. This is our first delivery to Red Cross. We are still accepting donations and continuing our fund-raising effort to help more Sichuan earthquake victims.
